I truly enjoyed the food we got here! I heard such good things about the chicken sandwich and it really held up! I was disappointed that it was lopsided. All my chicken was to one side, but the flavor was amazing. I recommend a side of the Mayo as well. We got cheese fries and the sauce was on the side. That was disappointing because it just congealed which made it impossible to dip. But I bet if it were on the fries it would be amazing!! The food was certainly 5 stars! However, the service was abysmal. It was uncomfortable and awkward. We called ahead to make sure there was dine in seating. When we arrived, at 9 pm, our order wouldn’t go through because we wanted to eat in house. I looked at the clock and it was 9:06, they close at 10 pm. The lobby was closed down to a space that was practically impossible to maintain social distancing. The dining room was closed off completely as if they were closed for the evening. I have never been to a fast food place in which I needed an hour to eat! We’re American! Even at sit down places it takes an hour tops! It was a strange and uncomfortable interaction with the gentleman who was “helping” people. I would come back for the food, but the service makes me want to skip it altogether.

Second time I’ve been here. First time I ordered inside and went to grab condiments and was abruptly told not to step back there that they would put all condiments in the bag. This time I ordered online and received a text order was ready. I went to take my order and someone asked “is this your order” wanted to respond with a no and tell him I opted for a heavier bag. Why not have someone who can just hand me the bag like other places.nnNow the food. My burger was good but a bit too pink. Cheese fries came with cheese separately and it had a film on it and was not the consistency of a sauce. My drink was half lemonade and blood orange and was not sweetened. As far as you providing condiments so I wouldn’t go near the table; then maybe a straw in the bag would have helped.nnI realize you’re new and working out the kinks so I’ll be back to give it one more try. I hope you figure out coordinating pickup and condiments

I went to one of the original Shake Shacks in New York about 3 years ago and I loved it. I ate at the first Denver location but I wasn't overly impressed so I wasn't sure what to expect from the Edgewater location. I was very impressed. The burger had a nice crust and was appropriately seasoned. The produce was fresh and crisp. The fries were crunchy outside and fluffy in the inside. The Christmas cookie shake was delicious. The ice cream was thick but not overly sweet. I don't normally eat whip cream but I ate that too. I am impressed that the food is even better than I remember it being in New York. Maybe I was especially hungry but the food was very tasty. Also, the staff was personable. In particular the gentleman who brought the food out to the car was very friendly. I will gladly come back for more.

A lady named Sandra was working when I came in to order, she was like the energizer bunny! She was helping customers, other workers and was cleaning ever second she was free. She cleaned from the time I got there and was still cleaning when i left. Shake Shack did well with this hire!nI came in because I had evidently hit the online order twice, but I only picked up one order. The manager was first class and quickly resolved that.nI can't say enough about how great this location is.

The food was overall good. Not something to rave about, there was a lot of grease on the burger so the bun was so soggy it was falling apart. The fries tasted like regular crinkle fries. The shakes were really good. Nice clean atmosphere. I would eat here again, it’s a nice place to stop by if your out and about in edgewater.
