Update: the consistency in the food seems to have decreased, while the prices increased. I still enjoy going for a drink, but won't be eating here much. I ordered take out, a bowl of butternut squash soup (specifically checking to be sure it's vegetarian). Found a lovely chunk of beef in my vegetarian soup. With that kind of cross contamination, it's unfortunate, but have to wonder what else... Aside from being vegetarian and finding meat in my soup, the soup itself had very little flavor.nnAwesome patio! Great food and service, love stopping here for happy hour.

Stopped into the restaurant for beers over happy hour several weeks ago. Communicated to the hostess my intention to order a drink and was seated in the general dining room. The waitress then moved me back into the bar area. Was then seated near the door, which was propped open by the hostess for about 30 minutes, letting in a draft from the 10 degree weather. Probably a fun location for a meal, great ambiance, but it wasn’t a five star experience for me.

A tad pricey, but everything in Avon/Vail is! Great salad and pizza! My kids ordered Alfredo with added chicken (off kids menu) as well as chicken parm with just butter on noodles. We ALL loved the food.

Vail/Beaver Creek is void of places where you can get really good food without shifting into some extravagant chef's over-thought creations. Sauce has a very good, yet simple menu and the food was great. Well worth the trouble to drive here.

Great spot for Italian food and excellent drinks!nnStopped by with the family while staying in Avon and loved the ambience inside the restaurant. Due to the pandemic, reservations were required and we wore masks to our table on arrival. We were seated very quickly after arriving for our reservation.nnService was spectacular and the restaurant was very clean as well. Enjoyed the Paper Plane martini which was excellent! The fried calamari was also great paired with their marinara sauce. The minestrone soup was also delicious and was brought out quickly. I had the shrimp scampi appetizer as my entree and also tried the rigatoni and sausage and both dishes were fantastic.nnIf you’re in town, be sure to stop by! You won’t be disappointed.
