Very scenic surrounding, very nice views of the river and of old Sac across the river. Also spectacular views of the Tower Bridge and the River Cats stadium.nAn interesting addition and a very nice one at that was the multiple spots along the river walk that gave a very detailed history lesson of the area. In particular the history of downtown Sacramento as it was over one hundred years ago. It describes how the city would flood often before it was raised and people would row to work in row boats from their home! Intriguing to say the least!

Great view, unable to visit museums at this time pretty clean

Overall it was very clean. A couple homeless people sleeping by the train depot but not overran with them, lots of the scooters around that you can just jump on and ride after downloading the app. Best part is it’s starting to open back up. Still a good place to visit, check out the train museum, kids under 5 are free!

I always enjoy visiting Old Town, and the waterfront in particular. It's always well maintained and lots of choices for food and unique gifts. Mostly, I visit as part of my regular walk-for-exercise routine so I've selfishly enjoyed the sparsely populated streets (due to Covid) for months.nVisitor traffic has really ramped up lately and it really is nice to see the shops and restaurants open. I definitely recommend this as a destination for groups and families of all kinds and ages ... it's a something-for-everyone kind of place that's rich in history and character.

I gave it 2 stars instead of one because of a shop called Steamers. Best coffee shop around. Hands down!!nOther than that old sac makes me want to cry. 80% of the shops are closed and have lease signs on the doors. This Covid thing is killing Sacramento businesses. Its very sad to see.nBut if you are looking for a great coffee go to Steamers. They have great good too. Love love Steamers
