Liked it but the water was a bit over grown with algae. It was a bit like a duck pond due to all the waterfowl.

I just LOVE this place! Perfect for picnics....they have two gazebos with BBQ grills. Plenty of parking. Two bathrooms (no sinks)...pretty clean. There is also a SMALL boat ramp, mainly used for non-motorized water vessels ( a lot of paddleboards and kayaks). It is also great for fishing and catching Bass, Blue Gill, and Catfish.

The rocks walking down and setting up a place to hang out are hard to walk on and getting into the river the rocks go pretty far out and you get stuck on them all the time and they're extremely slimy right on the river border and it's very dangerous to walk in so you have to figure out another way to get into the river.

Great place to kayak! Very uncrowded on a weekday in November. Great place to see some fall colors! Lots of ducks and geese to watch. Has a boat launch for easy launching and a large parking lot. Has a bathroom and picnic tables on site.

Beautiful place to sit and watch the river. If it's quiet you might be able to hear the birds sing.
