Reversed Creek is a good central location to explore the June Lake Loop and some of the surrounding areas (such as Bodie and Virginia Lakes). This campground is much smaller than many others in the loop so you do not feel crowded. We chose campsite 6 because it was further back from the other sites. There is not much shade during the day time but that was fixed with a canopy! We liked the privacy and the secluded feel. It's against the foliage and aspens at the base of a hill. This particular site can fit (at the most) 2 regular sized tents. Anymore and you might feel cramped. If you are looking for a larger site I would book sites 7 and 16 together. They back up to each other and are partitioned off a bit by trees and have shade. This would be suitable for a large family or group. Overall, Reversed Creek is a great find and I would recommend this location if you decide to visit the area.

Decent campground with potable water. Some sites private, others next to each other. A bit tight to drive through, so big rigs likely nit fit past site 6. Good for checking out the area.

No lake access, but it's a 5 minute walk. The campsites are a good size, but close to each other. There's only a few long or level sites for RVs, but good for tents. Clean flush toilets. Close to the cute little town of June Lake where you can find groceries and restaurants. Good cell signal.

I love this little campground. Especially in the fall! I was the ONLY camper once in late September, it was amazing. You camp in the midst of gorgeous aspen trees. Though it is very close to road and town, I just loved it. Camp host lady was great too, and told me one morning that a bear had been sniffing through camp, but wasn't even interested in my site as all was locked in the bear box. I love exploring the Eastern Sierras from this little gem.
