LOTS OF MOSQUITOES! THEY'LL EAT YOU ALIVE !
We loved this campsite ud83cudfd5. The camp host were polite. We will definitely be going back and it was really clean.
This place is great- during the weekdays! Weekends get a bit loud with all the off road traffic through camp. Bathrooms are pit and definitely not enough for the campground. No garbage bins, so pack it out!!!
I have stayed here or dispersed camped just across the road a couple times. It is a nice place and the free price is awesome.nnThere's also a potable spring down by the creek.
I've been camping and fishing here for 18 years. Unfortunately this Campground has deteriorated over the years. Bathrooms used to be easily accessible, but now they've installed 1 bathroom at the top end of the camp, and it's a hike to get up there. As more people have learned about this free camp, it's become crowded; i used to be able to go up on Thursday and get good site for the weekend but now no matter what day of the week I go, it seems to always be crouded. The last few times I've been there it seems other campers have no respect for each other, playing loud music and loud parties; it used to be so quiet and peaceful there but not anymore. It's not a big deal if you like the party atmosphere and you don't care about bathrooms . But I look for quiet, peaceful, streamside, friendly people- it's just not here anymore.
