There are multiple trails to explore. Not much shade along the trails

The only downside is limited parking. Just like the other East Bay regional parks, it is clean with well marked and maintained trails. The views are out of this world and there is a wonderful maze at the bay of the bay ridge loop. Plenty of up and down, so be ready to climb!

Beautiful hike with views of the entire San Francisco skyline and both the Bay Bridge and Golden Gate. Lots of wildflowers along well-maintained trails, with generally easy slopes. It's a great walk on a sunny day and I'd definitely recommend it.

This regional park is located in the east bay from San Francisco. For the purpose of this review I am focused on the area accessed from Fish Ranch/Old Tunnel roads. There are multiple trails the one that is the highest trafficked is the east end of the volcanic trial. There are some interpretive signs that provide insight as to how the volcano created the rock formations along the trail. The are some nice vista point looking east into the Siesta Valley and at one point you glimpse the Oakland Bay bridge and sliver of the City skyline to the west. The lesser traveled trail is the overlook trail east of the staging area parking lot which leads to Tilden Park. For a map of all the trails and staging area parking lots just Google Sibley Volcanic Park.

For beauty and diversity of landscape it gets full points, but the trails desperately are in need of marking and their needs to be maps showing you where each trail goes before you get on it. Or at least a handout that you can grab that shows you where all the geological markers are in such. If there was one it was covered up by extraneous papers, cones, warning signs Etc. You can definitely get a great work out there on the rougher trails, or you can stick to the paved one but I got to tell you it's pretty steep as well. So don't go taking Grandma there if she's not up to the aerobic climb of a pretty sustained 30-45%.nGetting to it was easy enough although the road is fairly narrow and people seem to treat it like a Monaco Raceway. So be careful and be aware of blind driveways on curves.
