On our way out of town, we stopped at this lovely little local gem. Our waitress was Shannon. She was awesome. We had their Rhode Island calamari special which was fantastic. Two cocktails, a painkiller and a salty dog . Yummy. And we split a half pound warm lobster roll. We sat outside and enjoyed the breeze and the view. It really was a perfect Saturday afternoon.

My girlfriend and I went to the Windjammer on a whim while on a casual Sunday (3-21-2021) drive on the coastline. The hostess sat us outside along the wall with a beautiful ocean view. Then we waited over 10 minutes for a server that never came to us. She and the hostess walked past us a few times, each time literally turning their heads to look away from us so we couldn't get their attention. A few minutes later the hostess sat a party of 10 about 30 feet down from us.nnWithin minutes, the aforementioned server went to them to take their drink order. That's when we left. The service was horrible, and it was completely unacceptable that a party that got sat over 10 minutes AFTER us got served while we were ignored.nnWe're never going back.

Not a fan of dogs in a restaurant, and there was about 8 of them in there today. Not only disgusting, but loudly barking too. No social distancing as it was packed. From CT and not sure of RI dining rules though. Food was below average and service was slow. Still can't get over dogs in a public restaurant. Not a dog hater, just don't think they belong in public restaurants.

Love coming here! Beautiful setting! Staff is super friendly and attentive. Great food! I’m a vegan and they customize my order each time. Just a wonderful place! My husband loves their lobster rolls! I love their ahi tuna bowl minus the tuna and I add their guacamole. Their fries are awesome! If you go and they have a Salty Dog mixed drink as a special get it!! Such a refreshingly wonderful cocktail!!
