We’ve had a great experience with the elementary education at Legacy. Our daughter has gone all four years here so far. In basing it on what my other kids learned in public schools, it’s put her about a year ahead of where they were at the same age. The staff really seem to care and bend over backward to help. A couple of the instructors (who are assistants to the teachers and paid) are definitely lacking in discipline technique, patience and capability but the benefits of the staff and school far outweigh the negatives. With that being said, my older son only attended the middle school and was not a fan. He liked the staff and seemed to learn at a rapid pace but there just wasn’t the social feeling and number of kids there needed to build more relationships. What was upsetting was trying to have a student removed from the middle school for threatening to kill other kids there, including my son. Each day he had to attend with this particular troubled boy still being allowed to attend even though he had made verbal threats against staff and students on the daily. I almost pulled my son out until they had a teacher or principal attend with the student each day, literally following him to class.

The elementary/ lower grades school on center street and teachers are so fantastic! My girls are finally getting a great education, enjoying school, wanting to be involved, wanting to work hard and loving their teachers and friends! Lots of parents get involved and knows what's going on with their kids! Best school ever! However the upper campus/middle school was Not at all the same experience for us as well as Many other families I talked to. It’s a shame the school couldn’t figure out a way to make the upper campus even half as amazing as the Elementry campus.

This school is pretty good. I think it's a positive experience. It's small and kids get a pretty good education. I'm so excited to see how it will change in the next few years!

My girls, who are in 6th and 4th grade were very excited after their first day of school. They BOTH told me that this school is much more interesting. They told me that the teachers are making sure that they understand the material rather than just telling them the material and then testing them on it. They said that there is nothing boring about their classes. This was all exactly how they told me. This school is earlier than their old school but interestingly enough I'm not having any trouble at all getting them up in the morning, they are excited every day to go to school.

Well, maybe this school will be great for my kids. After all, they are: 1. Gay; 2. Spoiled; and 3. We're rich. Sounds like the perfect place for them. Oh, and I think "Kelley" should switch to decaf.
