0/10 recommend. This PUBLIC school system is not great for ALL kids. The administration thinks they are running a school for the elite and thus troubled children or children that dont understand material get left behind. They go as far as to throwing children out of the school system for falling behind on class material and offer slim to no help for students that need it. Administration condones bullying and does not offer help to kids with rough home lives( not just one case, but time and time again under different circumstances and with different children) Dont recommend for even the smartest of children. Send your cherubs to LaSalle.

This school has a fun principal, much fun teachers, fascinating events, and less likelihood of bullying. The biggest downfall with this place is the locked bathrooms, as mentioned by a reviewer named David English. Another big downfall is the amount of cussing that occurs, but luckily, the school does NOT tolerate cussing in either way. If you say that some staff are irresponsible enough for such situations, luckily, they might talk about such stuff during team meetings, assemblies, etc. As of today, this school is very highly recommended.

Smithfield High School supports each student that walks through the doors on day 1 untill they walk out of the Doors after senior year. Each teacher helps the students grow and learn and also makes sure that the students are learning what they need to, in able to succeed through highschool and onto college or straight to an internship or job. The students at SHS are very positive and supportive towards their peers and know how to beighten up someone's day. If a student is not acting themselves, the teacher makes sure that they are okay and encourages them to talk about how they are feeling to better the students situation. This is the best highschool I have ever gone to and I'm proud to be part of this student body. It is truely amazing how caring and supportive the staff and teachers are towards eachother and towards learning. ud83dude0a
