The community garden offers everyone who applies and is selected a patch of land to grow anything you like. My friends grew large sunflowers kale tomatoes lettuce And other produce. Most of the plots are occupied by serious urban farmers who make very good use of the land. Neglected patchy plots are rare. Its soothing for the soul if that's your cup of tea
This is a nice community garden where locals can rent plots to grow their own vegetables. The garden is also well stocked with tools to help you maintain your plot. A point of improvement would be making the plot more accessible to new comers as right now the only way to get a plot is either to know someone who already has one here or hopefully catch someone maintaining their plot and ask them for information.
Great community garden. My only suggestion is to donate what’s not used.
Beautiful park baseball fields, basketball courts, walking trail and right on the water.
The best community garden in Providence.
