Fish'n Tales Adventures

Very family oriented and fun! We took the 7:30 am, three-hour fishing tour. We and about four other families were evenly spaced throughout the boat. Everyone including the captain and the two crew had on masks. We all had fishing rods, and the crew were fantastic putting on bait, helping us get our catch into the boat, and very importantly filleting the fish! It was a great birthday adventure for my nine year old.

My 13 year old son and I love to fish and we weren’t sure if this trip would be too boring for us...we were soooo wrong! We were both blown away with how much we caught and all that we learned!!!!! The crew was FANTASTIC!!!! They all worked their butts off to make sure that no second was waisted, and that we caught as much as possible during our time on board! We have had private charters in the past, and this was honestly better! WAY more bang (and fun!) for your buck! The amount of fish that we caught and brought home (fully skinned and filleted!) was probably worth more than what we paid for our tickets! I will absolutely be going back again!

This was a great time! Took the 2 hour midday trip. Though I caught my first and last fish (big black sea bass) with only 10 minutes to go on our excursion. It was fun.nEverybody on board started catching fish within minutes of dropping lines in the water. We got some rain and were provided ponchos. Captain and crew were great. Baited our hooks, removed caught fish from lines, and stored them on ice or threw them back at our option.nNot to mention Newport Harbor is beautiful.

Our group really enjoyed this fishing trip. It was a 3 hour experience and we were done before noon. The crew maintained social distancing between customer groups and masks were worn. The crew was attentive to the needs of everyone in our group. We caught some fish and some were big enough to keep. Later, the crew cleaned and filleted our catch and put it on ice for us. We had fun and I hope to do it again on our next trip to Rhode Island.

Amazing experience all around! Very easy to coordinate our trip and the staff aboard the ship made for a great time! Everyone on the boat caught something and it was a perfect way to spend the afternoon. Could not recommend more!
