Ginger In Ohio (03/27/2021)
Unfortunately, there is no visitor center. No one was around to help with any issues or give any information. There was a board behind the “future visitor center” but the stamp had been stolen. Of course, if it was in a building or with a ranger, this would not have happened. Now, the park was nicely kept. There was some information on the board that told a little of the story of the area. The walking trail was nice, muddy but that was ok because it had been pouring rain that morning. If I’m ever in Toledo again, I may stop back but disappointed in the overall experience.

A forest haven next to the highway. You wouldn't even know it's there from the highway. Historical information along the well-maintained walking path.

The path could have been cleared better, make it a little easier to walk on, lots of dog poo on the path too, but Beautiful walk..Ill come and use the path again..Thank you Metro-parks..

Great place to walk dogs. The visitor center is not a visitor center but a rental hall. The 1.5 mile pathway could use a garbage can half way around. Who wants to carry a bag of poop 1.4 miles?

Important and often forgotten historical site on Northwest Ohio!
