A nice monument overlooking the Maumee River. There is a visitor center on the other side of 24 but you will have to look around to find it. It's on the east side of the mall is the entrance

Great place to relax and enjoy the moment...scenery is wonderful

It was a pivotal battle to hold the North West and was part of what caused the War of 1812. This is a small memorial. It is a nice presentation and part of the broader National Battlefield. The problem is that. This monument is in the wrong place. The National Battlefield's just some walking paths in the woods. The Visitors Center is rented out for parties. It is just four walls. Even the stamp has been stolen from the outside bulletin board. It really is a nice park and monument. It would be nice if they can move it to the right place.

It is a beautiful commemoration to our local history and I'm glad nobody has tried to vandalize or tear it down yet. I pray it will stay up forever.
