Me and my daughter love going there cuz we seem to always find horn coral and travel bytes
Great experience for younger fossil hunters. I actually hunted for fossils at the quarry around 40 years ago here. It is vastly different now. The area has large piles of rock/gravel in areas that lend themselves to finding small fossils. Along the edges of the area are larger rock that can be split to find fossils also. I would suggest bring a small hammer and chisel even though they say it is not needed.

Fossil hunting is always fun with friends. The volunteer added a lot of information and knowledge to our discussion about the local fossil record.
