Really cool hike, they have these little bridges you cross back and forth over the stream. The bridges are just planks out together and turned on their side. Really solid and stable only about 10in wide, no handrail, doesn't take to much to balance and it's a lot of fun.
This is a beautiful hike, not strenuous, and it offers gorgeous views. It connects to other trails, as well, so you can extend your hike if you desire.
It is tranquil with hiking trails and a favorite with people who want to take their dogs. Love the sound of spring creak and the majestic hills and the plentiful wildlife...
Great hike up to Sheridan lake. Go up or come back on the flume trail to make it a loop and go through the tunnel. Awesome now that they have the foot bridges in place for the stream crossings. Well worth the time to do this one.
Beautiful Black Hills never disappoints. Nice walking trail for all abilities. Breathtaking scenery.
