Guadalajara's Mexican Restaurants

Friendly staff and large portions!

To say that everything in this restaurant is bland and tasteless would be a lie. The mint flavored toothpicks on the way out were delightful and full of flavor.nnI'll start with the salsa. It was probably the only thing we ate with flavor, but it still wasn't good and definitely not fresh tasting. They use canned tomatoes with a little bit of cilantro and onion thrown in. It had the metallic taste that canned tomatoes have when not cooked. At least the chips were warm.nnI ordered chicken fajitas and my husband ordered a fajita steak burrito. But, they didn't have any steak fajita, they were also out of queso, so he ordered chicken. The refried beans were a tasteless puddle of mush with some melted shredded cheddar on top. They did not taste seasoned at all. The Mexican rice was crunchy and, not surprisingly, lacked any flavor. The chicken strips for the fajitas are advertised as being cooked in their special sauce. But guess what? Their special sauce has absolutely no flavor. I had to add salt and pepper to everything to even make it edible and even after that it was still hard to eat. The tortillas were pale white circles like the worst packaged tortillas are. The least they could do is throw them on a grill to liven them up a little.nnGranted, some people like their food here, but if you like flavor, or quality and freshness, then this is not the place for you.

Delicious! Staff was amazing! Busy night and those guys were working their butts off. Worth the wait!n(And I was given no discount for my review! Was a good time and a great meal!)

Extra 0 starsnVery disappointed of this place! It wouldn’t call it Mexican’ restaurant and lest Guadalajara. I came from Guadalajara, Mexico to visit Mt Rushmore! I saw the restauran in Keystone’s area and My boyfriend and I decided to eat there! After we were seated we wait for more than 10 min and then two more party came and they were seated close to us! Well the waiter served them and ask their order before us! The two guys, the one who seated us and the waiter saw us there and none of them came to us! We wait for another 15 min! And nobody came to us to bring us water or something, So we decided to leave! We when to the pizza place in front of the street and they service there was beyond better that the one sadly is called Mexican restaurant Guadalajara!

It was good. Nothing to write home about. Different flavor from the Mexican food I grew up on. The food needed some salt. The beans need salt and the rice was crunchy. Also the taco shells were store bought like those from taco bell. The waiter was very kind and being Mexicans ourselves it was a treat to speak to him in Spanish.
