We were in Keystone for a trip to visit Mt. Rushmore and were excited to eat here because of the theme and reviews.nnUnfortunately, the food was low grade cafeteria quality at best and we found a dead gnat in the spaghetti dish. The burger tasted like it was tossed in the microwave just before serving.nnWe made the drive to Rapid City for a decent meal the next evening.
Went here for our first Anniversary Dinner. The food was amazing and matched by the decor and ambiance of the place. Our server, Devan was great and very helpful. He made our time even more enjoyable. And at the end we were presented with a beautiful desert as a gift. Can’t wait to go again.
The Buffalo stew in a bread bowl was fantastic!nThey do have a nice selection on the menu. Every person in my party was very pleased with their dinner.nFamily friendly. Interesting ambiance. Very friendly service! And the prices were very decent for a tourist town.nWe will definitely be stopping by the Ruby House restaurant again!
Ate there 3 times during our long weekend visit. Every time was great. They were busy and there was a little wait each time, but not unreasonable considering every table was full. For good reason too. The food was great and not over priced. Can't believe the steaks were so cheap and so good! Indian taco was very good too as well as the buffalo stew in a bread bowl. The only things that compare to the quality of the food was the atmosphere, service, and awesome boardwalk you take to get there. This place was a definite highlight on our mini vacation.
Great Old-West atmosphere. Our waitress was super! I had the Elk Burger and I do not recommend it. A regular hamburger would have been better. No worries; that's my bad. Live and learn.
