Epic camping spot. The weather was a perfect 65 degrees so we were worried we wouldn't find a spot. But we went in from the north entrance road (not the southern gate closer to the national park entrance) and it was less busy. We thought our views were a little better too since we could see all the way down the wall instead of just looking out over. Either way it's gorgeous.nnThe first night was windy (30mph+) but the next couple nights were more calm. If the forecast shows wind, it would be smart to park facing into the wind if possible.nnBighorn sheep came by a couple times to visit, but otherwise it was very quiet.nnThe town of Wall and Wall Drug, of course, is a short, fun drive up the road. The national park is next door with tons of buffalo, sheep and prairie dogs to see. The sunset views from the Pinnacles Overlook right inside the entry gate were incredible.nnWe thought the short trip over to the Minuteman missile site (the Delta-09, not the visitor center further down the road) was really interesting. But check hours first because there's a gate.nnYou can get water from a spigot right inside the entry gate but it's not threaded and doesn't have a lot of pressure. So you likely won't be able to fill your RV tanks. Instead you could fill water containers or a water bladder. We heard you can go to the campgrounds in the town of Wall for dump and water if you need it.

Great Views, and you can’t beat the price! Everyone there was very friendly, the sheep stopped by for a visit, and I love listening to Coyotes in the distance at night. Great place to stay! During or stay it got very windy at night about 3 hours after sundown.

fun place to spend the night on way through to see national park. Try to be respectful of distance between rigs, can get a bit crowded. Winds can be run, saw someone almost lose their tent.

This is hands down the best boondocking site you will find in the Midwest. Some key pieces of information:nnTurn at the 3 towers. Go SLOW. It is a gravel road with lots of dips and bumps.nnNo problem for any size trailer or RV so long as you have decent ground clearance. If you know your riding low, take it extra slow.nnThey have replaced the wire gates with drive across cattle gates. This is real nice and the animals don't get out when some people left the old gates open.nnThere is no water or anything else. You will need to empty and refill before/after. Suggest military shower and a 5 gallon water jug to refill in the park or town.

We spent one night boondocking on The Wall. We did not have time to stay longer, but would have loved to. Even though we had haze from Fires in CA, OR, WA, the view was still spectacular. Also, a fire ban prevented us from cooking with a fire.nnAlso, there is a cell tower on the Wall. If you need to work remotely, this place would be a great place to do so. High rate data with Verizon LTE.nnThis is a great place to get away from it all. I want to come back and see the stars.
