Very nice little Park never would have found it on my own. Employees were very helpful.

Built in 1888 by Jacob Brandt, the Hartman #2 Covered Bridge was constructed with a queenpost truss and is 50 feet long. The Hartman Bridge was moved to Lockville Park in 1967, where it spans the Ohio and Erie Canal. Lockville Park has preserved the locks of the old canal and maintains a portion of the old canal. The bridge sits just went of the park. It was repaired in 1967 when it was relocated. A shake roof, red plank siding and white paint on the interior were added at the time of relocation. Today, 2018, the covered bridge is well maintained by Fairfield County Historical Parks. Great experience, fun location.
