Lisa helped my friend and I have an amazing experience in the Catskills. She recommended great local places, helped us with snowshoes, and provided us with great tips and information. The only I thing i was left wanting was more daylight! She has taken multiple, thoughtful precautions to ensure the safety of her customers and the community during this time.nnIf you want a great experience and to support a local business owned by a woman who truly cares about the environment and her community, check this place out. Reasonable prices, great products and rentals.. couldn't recommend more. I can't wait to return and visit. Call ahead if you are looking to rent snowshoes or equipment during a weekend

The perfect store for all your hiking/trail needs. The owner is super knowledgeable about great spots in the area as well as the products carried in the store. I really really appreciated the warm welcome to the area and the shared love of getting outdoors!

This store is a must see for any new or experienced nature lovers, hikers, etc. There is a wonderful selection of books as well ranging from children’s to nature identification texts. We were visiting the Catskills for the first time, and the shop owner was so warm and welcoming. The space is very clean and is enacting covid safety precautions (such as social distancing and hand sanitizer for guests). I bought my first pair of hiking boots there with the help of the shop owner. If you’re visiting the area I suggest a pop in to her store. You will not be sorry you did!

We were up in the Catskills to hike and I was the dummy who left my hiking boots at home. Lisa was super accommodating, had a great selection of shoes, and a spacious and socially distant area to try them on. I got lucky and she had my usual boot in a shoe, in my size, and I was in and out in 20 minutes and didn’t have to spend a fortune to enjoy our trip. I couldn’t have left happier. Thank you Lisa!!! You saved the day!
