Howe Caverns

One of the absolute coolest thing I've ever done! Highly recommend the lantern tour!

Very nice place to visit. You take an elevator to go deep down into the caverns. Bring your jacket because it is cool down there.nnIt is fascinating to see the colorful geological structures that have taken place over the millions oy years.nnThere is a brief boat tour and lengthy underground passages. It is a marvel to see.nnUnless your children are very well behaved, I do not recommend you bring them along as there are too many places a child can slip and fall.nnI also do not recommend you take a sip of the water as this is not Spring Water. This water is full of lime and calcium, which will make anyone dumb enough to drink, will make them so sick, they regret they did it.nnSo, if you abide by the rules, you will truly enjoy yourself. The sights are stupendous! Oh, and it's very scenic topside also.

Great cave, really enjoyed the boat ride underground and the narrow walkway! The brick floor made it seem less cavey and authentic though, I wanted to explore more.

Nature at its finest. 156 feet below the surface about a mile long. Just a super place to visit.
