I purchased a $350 Faviana dress for an upcoming wedding. Upon receiving the dress it was too small. When I called to return the dress they said, they have a no return policy for “special occasion dresses”. All other items may be returned within 15 days. I asked if they could make an exception or if I could possibly exchange the dress the answer was no. I buy a lot of dresses and I have never run into this problem before. I do not recommend Harriman clothing at all and I will never purchase anything from them again. Not only would they not return or exchange my dress, the person on the phone was rude and acted as if I was an idiot for not knowing the policy.

The sales woman said she would forego selling me a dress in the stylenthat I was looking for because it wasn't the most popular style! I don't want the most popular dress that everyone else would wear. Who does that? She basically walked away and took a phone call. Won't be going back there. PS the prices are really high!

I'm sorry. I know the associate spent a good portion of time with me today. However, I just got the feeling she either thought I wasn't knowledgeable about attire and wedding etiquette, or that I wasn't her usual level of clientele. I felt like a silly little girl instead of the aunt of the bride. I tried to make kind conversation, and she was more interested in whether I was handling the merchandise appropriately.nI've had extensive experience working in high end retail at Oleg Casini and Bob Macki Black Tie.nI don't deserve to be made to feel belittled.nThe clothes are lovely, the prices represent range, and the convenience of location is remarkable. Yet, as a resident of the area for nearly forty years; I will not be returning.
