This place exceeded our expectations. The cabins were ultra-clean and comfortable. The upstairs loft was great to store our things. Elk horn Ridge is dog friendly and has a mini dog park for your pets to run around. We went in the winter time, but hope to come again in the summer when we can make use of all of the amenities, fire pits and pool.

Close to Hwy 85, easy in and out - sign is a bit small and could be missed if you're not aware of where it is. Sites are great - level, clean, spacious. Staff was friendly and helpful. Spent a week here and used it as our main jump point for Rushmore, Custer National Park (a bit of a drive), Rapid City, Deadwood, etc. Worked our quite well. Would definitely stay again if the opportunity presented itself.

This campground may be worthy of the price in season. However after Labor day when temps drop, the pool is closed you may want to ponder what ia most important to you and your reason for the stay. Location, views and concrete/paved paths are a plus. There are nice ball courts, a dog park and playground in good temps. For us, we just didnt see how this park has resort amenities in the off season to set it apart from another campground other than location to Deadwood and Speargish Canyon. The community firepits are near the main entrance a significant walk from any camper and appear to not be in use during COVID. Even so you would have to haul your own chair. Customer service is meager. The welcome mat is not rolled out for the guest traveler. It's almost like the front desk staff assume you are from the area or have been to the resort before.nSeems this resort would want to greet their guest in a more hospitable promoting way. Restroom facilities are not what one might expect for a campground with resort in its name both in appearance and lacking adequate sanitation. Wifi is good but premium speed requires additional cost. The Miller Creek Pub and Golf Course are convenient and my guess why guests may return. Disappointed for the 75+ fee per night.

So far so good! First night on the property & our cabin is beautiful. Cozy. Very clean. Great location. Great dinner at the Miller Creek Pub. Restaurant is right across the street & is part of the golf resort on this Property. Looking forward to our 4 nights at the Elkhorn Ridge Resort.

We met some family members here and both had a great week. Family members mentioned how clean the bath houses were (except they are quite far from the electric only campsites). Great sized sites!! We loved it and have been giving shout out on various camping sites! We will be back! Only suggestion, more lights at your entrance!!!
