New owners and you know what that means?nnEverything changes.nnWe went there for years and when we DID have a problem, it was taken care of. The food was always top notch and well done. The best pizza hands down and bar none in Jersey.nnBut, that changed with these new owners. It went from being an old Italian family to a bunch of Hispanics and with it went the authenticity.nnIt’s pretty much a rule that to get the authentic taste of any nationality of food, it needs to be done by a native.nnSuch is the case here. While the Italian family used high quality ingredients and made sure the proportions were correct, the new people that make the pies use cheaper ingredients that aren’t as good and just throw the pies together and it shows in the taste.nnToo little sauce, too much cheap mozzarella, too thin of a crust so the pies end up so greasy it leaks through the box. Even worse if you try to get a pepperoni pie which took the biggest hit as instead of using good pepperoni, they use something like you’d find in a Lunchables box.nnSad to see an establishment that our family had loved for over 40 years become as much of a let down as it did.nnThree stars because despite all this, it’s still better than most places around here. But if you want good and more authentic pizza, your best bets would be Johnny Napkins in Union, Eli’s in Elizabeth, or North End Pizzeria in Elizabeth.

My husband came here like 3 or 4 years ago to this place with my daughter and her bestfriend. It was my daughters birthday and they had so much fun. I would wanna come to this place everyday if I had the chance.

Fantastic. 10/10 Overall. This is the best pizza for the price in Elizabeth/Union, hands down. It’s no longer owned by the legendary Bruno, but the new owners have not disappointed with their ingredients. Their prices are perfect for the too notch quality of the pizza. The dough is unbelievable soft. Very yummy. I consider myself a pizza expert, so take my word: this spot is the spot to go for pizza in Elizabeth.

I mainly go 4 there pizza. There pizza is okay sometimes the other times its 2 greasey
