Beautiful hike, only walked up a couple slopes because it was getting dark and it was definitely too slippery for sandals in the evening. Good views, but a bit hard to tell the trail apart from off the trail footpaths— as the poles marking the trail were a bit far apart. Proceed with caution and adventure !
It’s ok. Relatively short but brutal and hot. I was sliding on the trail in way back due to slippery sand and steep trail. Views are better on simple pull outs along the main road in the park. I wouldn’t do it again.
Gorgeous hike. It gets very hot in August so be prepared to go early to avoid the 100+ temperatures.
Amazing scenery. Trail is steep.
A bit of a hike to the top but doable. Remember to bring water and wear proper clothes. Watch for snakes.
