In 2014, The Dorothy and Herman C. Miller Family Memorial Forest was dedicated as a public use land under the stewardship of the Francestown Land Trusts with state aid in the form of NH Land and Community Heritage Investment Program (L-CHIP). The land was purchased originally from Royal Heritage Lands, but in 1885, Herman Miller's grandfather purchased this land and stayed in the family for 129 years before the 2014 reassignment to public use land. Comes complete with trails that ineract with other area conservation easements and state and town protected lands.
