Our stay here was fantastic! We were off the main highway, next to a national forrest and still 30 minutes away from all the big attractions! The owners were absolutely wonderful, helpful generous people! This is a great place to stay to camp and to stay with your horses. The whole area is very clean, very well maintained. Office was open all day and they answered any questions. The showers were just like being at home! Very clean. The sites were spaced out nicely and the people were friendly. We ran into a snowstorm the night before we were going to leave and the owners said we could stay well past check out time! Custer is about 15 minutes down the road with stores, shopping and food. Would highly recommend! They also got us in last minute and we needed two sites! Very reasonably priced with sites with full hook up. Laundry is also available. Would stay here again and recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in the Black Hills!

Very nice. Cabin was small but worth it for my husband and I. Only issue we had was we brought our dogs kennel because she won't sleep without it and we had to put it up at the foot of the bed where the only space to walk out of the cabin was. Perfect distance from town where it was nice and quiet and peaceful but only took a few minutes to run in and get food or anything we want. Everyone was very friendly. Also loved how dog friendly the place was. I would stay here again.

Nice clean campground. Friendly owners. For horse people the riding out of BA is pretty good. Maybe 4 days. Trailer rentals are available but very pricey at 40 and $50 a day. Their accounting system is the worst so check your bill. Definitely a great place to stay!

A great place to stay for those with horses. Lots of riding right out of camp. Covered, clean stalls, nice laundry and restrooms, showers.

Discovered this place when my partner and I were in a pinch for a tent spot. Came in quite late but owner was super friendly and accommodating. Peaceful site, everyone was respectful — nice atmosphere. Good facilities too!
