Been here twice! Love that there is a beach area to walk to. The biting past flies were terrible one of the days..next day wasnt as bad..

Great quiet stay, neighbors are great and its centrally located so going up north further or south makes this place a great one to stay overnight.

It was fascinating walking amongst the village. People were friendly. Dress appropriately..Lake Superior brought in a ferocious chill.

We had a great time with the family and the neighbors. The beach access to Lake Superior was great. They allow fires on the beach, which we had a great Time doing. The owners were very helpful and nice. When we stayed we went hiking at state parks and forests in the area, but there is plenty of other activities in Duluth and two harbors to participate in. Our family loved the campground and made many everlasting memories there. Our only concern was there wasn't much to do in knife river, but it wasn't a huge deal because of the large cities nearby. Great family oriented campground.
