Great dog park with a nice little beach next to the river. Be aware there is no gate or fence around this park. The dogs are mostly contained by the steep slope on one side and the river on the other, but if you have a pup who likes to run be careful.

This place was great! We took a walk down this path that led to the dog park and there was a little post that had a number you could call and we did and it told you little facts about the river and items in the area. It was a good time and our dogs loved being down by the beach. The park was way bigger then I thought also which was an added bonus

Maps says it's a dog park but you can certainly be here even if you're not a dog. You can be really close to the river. There is a total of one picnic bench here. It is super peaceful and has an eerie, bygone-days, abandoned kind of feel to it which makes it a great spot to be at if you're a loner. Not so much of a typical romantic place but if you're both kind of gloomy, this would be a great place to share your gloominess at. Equally beautiful in all seasons

My dog loves the beach which is why I had been bringing him, but today I stepped on a wasp nest that pushed me over the edge of not wanting to go anymore. This park is a beautiful little place for dogs who love sand and water, but it does smell sometimes, the trash can is overflowing and has been all summer, and there are lots of bugs that bite. The wasp nest that I stepped on was in the sand and those wasps attacked anything that came within 20 feet of them. Lucky for my dog, they gave up on him because his coat was too thick. Not so lucky for me. The nest was so hidden, who knows how many others there may be on the shore.

Pretty trail to walk through and there’s not many people which is great if you want a spot to yourself. My dog is scared of other dogs so this was a good place to go to. There were only 3 other dogs when I went on a Friday after 5 pm. Taught her how to swim and had a picnic. Some spots smell cause of the sewers and no parking lot. But there’s nice views, would recommend.
