NOT THE PLACE YOU WANT TO BRING YOUR SPECIAL NEEDS CHILD. IEPS ARE NOT FOLLOWED. THEY MAY SOUND GOOD BUT IT HAS TO BE NEXT TO IMPOSSIBLE TO GET MY KIDS IEP MET BECAUSE MOST OF THE KIDS HAVE THEM AND RECENTLY, THE TOP GUYS ARE CUTTING THE THINGS MY KID NEEDS. THEY ARE ALSO CUTTING THE AMOUNT OF PEOPLE THAT WORK THERE. (And giving themselves 30k in raises after fully paying for sped directors college)I HEAR A BUNCH OF staff RECENTLY PULLED THEIR KIDS FROM THE SCHOOL. I PULLED MY KID BEFORE THE YEAR WAS DONE. VERY SAD, VERY SAD INDEED. I DID WANT MORE OF MY FRIENDS KIDS TO GO HERE....NOT NOW.nnNote to admin ( that they won't heed)nnWeak leaders measure success by money, position and power.(hence admin 30k raise while staff got paycuts)nnStrong leaders measure success by the difference they made in other people's lives.nnThe secret to the success of my own career was to hire good people, trust them to do their jobs, and bring out the best in them, not the stress in them.nnGood people need little to no management. They need support, clarity and encouragement.nnBut most of all they need leaders who care.nnIf we don't care about people, we don't deserve to be leaders.nnTry this please... Because from what i HEAR currently none of this happens.
