Very comfortable, family-friendly atmosphere. Missy and John, the owners, and Bill (jack-of-all-trades) are personable and super friendly. There's a well stocked catch and release pond, swimming pond with sandy beach, and lots of things for the kids to do. Everything is well cared for and the bathhouse is clean and well maintained. First time as a seasonal camper and see no reason to move.
Vastly improved from years ago, with two ponds, one for swimming & one for fishing. Playground and giant bounce pad that could even be used in the rain. The kids had a blast! Pavilion was nice for a graduation party.
Management is fair and accommodating. Campground environments are typically quite friendly and Wilderness is no exception, all encounters around were friendly. Clean areas. Good swimming area/pond. Seasonal and daily rates are reasonable.
Yeah if you want to experience a campground area getaway that's a good place to go to peaceful you can park your RV where they got cabins different the adventure things pretty nice
Wonderful staff. Had a waterhose break, and the campground owner allowed us to borrow one for our visit. That was true hospitality! Thanks again for all you do, it was truly nice meeting you both. :)
