Awesome campground! Well designed and plenty of room at each site. Concrete driveways, RV site, and manicured grass areas. You can tell when they laid it out they prioritized the views and space to space relationship. No one is too close or in your way to see what’s happening. Our stay was later into the fall so we couldn’t take advantage of the beach and water but that’s beautiful too! For a fairly experienced RVer, this campground is in the top 3 we’ve stayed in around the country.

We are new campers to the Lazy H campground. We are so happy we found this place! First off, it's beautiful. It's well maintained and has every perk you could ever want in a campground. The public bath house is new and updated. The RV beach is wonderful. I love how they provide lily pads that are anchored down for the kids to enjoy the water. The campsites are huge! Fully concrete.....lots of thick lovely green grass....nice picnic tables and landscaped fire rings. But the thing that will keep us coming back is the customer service! When we arrived, we had a hydraulic hose burst....we couldn't put our jacks down to unhook from the truck. We contacted the check in cabin and the gals got us in touch with a few mobile camper repair services and then sent over their maintenance crew to see if they could help. Not only was the Lazy H maintenance crew able to help but they went above and beyond to make sure we were able to enjoy our stay. You can't get that kind of service at just a normal campground.....we are just so thankful for their help and kindness and that's what will make this campground stay successful.

First time here and was extremely impressed! Greeted by a friendly staff member when we arrived. Received a packet with a map, coupons, etc. Every site is the same size and each has a view of the water. It is so peaceful and the campground is emaculant!! Beautiful beach for swimming. Boats and bikes for rent. Plenty to do and the staff is exceptional!! Definitely will return to this jewel of a campground!!

What amazing campground! Brand new! Wide green expanses of grass between you and your neighbor! This campground was done RIGHT! Wow, the small individual site post light just came on! That's what prompted this rating! ud83dude01Concrete pad , a nice table, a warm fire in a beautiful stone fire ring, friendly staff, a lake view, quiet surroundings, and tonight a full moon coming over the horizon! I can't promise the full moon, but the rest makes it the best campground we have found on our 9 week cross country trip! Enjoy!

Stayed 9/2 and 9/3/2020. Grounds and facilities are extremely clean and well maintained. Camp sites are full hook-up and well-spaced from fellow campers. The staff will do anything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Your stay includes coupons for use around Akron, IA. The town golf course is fantastic. Local grocery store has everything you need. The lake is a bit small but great for swimming, fishing and kayaking. Lazy H is a fun, safe and very friendly place!
