Keep away from this business. You have a bunch of poorly trained students who will be sent out to customers homes to learn on the job. I had them paint my exterior let me tell you the problems I had with them.1) Poor job of prepping to no prepping at all 2) Painted surfaces having poor finish with bubbles and patches galore 3) Paint started peeling even before they left the job 4) I had to keep pointed out the poor quality over and over again (Trust me I am no painter have no clue but when you see that your newly painted exterior looks terrible by looking at it from far you have a problem). 5) They extended my warranty to 2 years but now I am thinking what use is the warranty if their quality is this terrible. 6) The cost of painting job was pretty close to all others quoted so advantage there either
Student Painters is a great way to expand your leadership ability and learn how to handle stress. From learning how to lead your own team of employees to marketing for jobs to completing jobs for customers, student painters creates a well rounded experience for students looking to grow personally and professionally. You have complete control over your revenue for the summer. Its all based on how hard you're willing to work. Its a great way to test yourself and mature all while being surrounded by a community of other students pushing through obstacles and mentors who have your best interest at heart.
We were extremely pleased with Lorenzo Hernandez and his team of Student Painters. :Lorenzo and his crew of college students did an excellent job of painting the trim on our house. It was a big job of scraping and calking and preparation before painting. The group was very professional, skilled, and meticulous every step of the way! They did a great job painting the trim!! And the students were extremely pleasant and competent each day. We are highly grateful to Lorenzo and his team in each step of this painting process. Highly recommend Student Painters/Lorenzo Hernandex/Team...top notch!
Awesome experience working as a branch manager here as a freshman. Learn skills such as leadership, responsibility, and commitment. I would highly recommend this to anyone that is looking to run their own business coming out of college.
College Summer InternshipnnI had a great experience running my own branch of student painters over the summer of 2019. I had an immense learning curve and met an amazing group of people. This is not an internship for people with weak work ethics and minimal self discipline.
