Silver Leaf is a MUST visit winery, every time we go to Traverse City. You will not be disappointed by the wines and the staff is always warm and friendly!
So really winery and vineyard is right along the lake Leelanau wine trail. We got to visit while we were doing the harvest stampede in 2019. We tried a lot of different ones but nothing really tickled our fancy. I don’t know if you could call the woman who was pouring the wine a sommelier. It seemed like she was the person who drew the short straw and had to be there that day. The tasting room is quaint but not something I would write home about.
