I usually have a wonderful experience with Anthropologie and typically their customer service is top tier. I have been to several locations in different states and never experienced anything like I did yesterday. I went to the Brenton Village store location in Grand Rapids to make a return and waited in line for no less than 35 minutes. I have never waited that long, but I was patient and did not mind the wait itself. Once I get to the cashier’s desk I had my bag with the item I was returning and handed over my return receipt. Instead of saying “how can I help you?” or “sorry for the long wait, thank you for being patient” I am greeted with “...and what do you want me to do with this??” in a very rude tone. This was the definition of poor customer service. If only she could see my jaw drop... it was unfortunately hidden behind a mask. I think this branch should really do a refresher course on customer service and fire the grinch.

The store was fine but none of the employees wore their masks, or wore them without covering their nose. It’s been a year and 500,000 people dead, you’d think they would take their customers’ safety more seriously.

Great sale on jewelry. Love their perfumes and candles. Clothes a bit $ for me unless they are on sale. Really cute stuff!

Out of all the Anthropologie stores I've been to, this one has some of the most helpful staff. I ordered a candle online and picked it up in store. After I got home I noticed the candle was cracked and broken. I called the store and they were very apologetic and offered on replacing the candle. The candles all smell amazing and I also love their perfume selection!
