Scotts Mill is a nice place to go to get away from it all. After a long country drive, Scotts is in the middle of nowhere. Unfortunately, the Mill's water wheel fell into disrepair and hasn't been operational since 2015. And if you want to pay the $5 to get in, Scotts Mill is a great place for unique photo opportunities, as well as a nice place to get in touch with nature by accessing the two trails there. The Prairie Trail is 0.9 miles where as the Woods Trail is 0.44 miles. However, Scotts Mill is in desperate need of repair, and it would be nice to see someone fix up this 1870s grist mill before time and weather make it too late.

We like to visit Scott's mill park. Very nice place to visit. Usually quiet and not busy. Wish they would restore the wheel, pretty gross down that way.
