My family likes to hike. At Lands End, there are endless picture moment opportunities. Everywhere you look, there are beauty of nature that will for sure to inspire you. It truly is breathtaking. From the cliff house all the way close to Golden Gate Bridge is about 4-5 mile walk, but it doesn't feel like workout at all. It's just a moment to appreciate nature and enjoy family bonding time.

If you want isolation and quiet, this is your campground. We got a few tv stations but no T-Mobile cell service. Check your directions carefully before going there as it can be difficult to find even if using GPS. The roadway going to the campsite is narrow, curvy and steep in one area. We have a 27' travel trailer and often found ourselves having to straddle the center line while driving precariously around blind corners. The camping area has only 8 spots for RV's which are fairly close together and depending on how good you are at backing can be difficult to back into. I wouldn't think of taking a fifth-wheel into this campground. Tons of shade.

Very beautiful. Love nature walks and take pictures of nature. Really enjoy getting out for quiet time.

This review is specific to RV camping only. We spent one night at Stone State Park. First, the roads to the camping area are tight. If you have a large rig, don't even consider this park. The camp site was small but nice except that trash filled the fire ring so it was unusable. Before covid19 I would have just grabbed a trash bag and cleaned it out, but not any longer. Camp sites are electric only, no water or sewer (I am probably spoiled by the state parks in my area where electric and water are both usually available even on most tent only sites). The shower in the ladies' room was very dirty, be sure to wear shower shoes! My husband shared that the men's room was even worse. We also could not find a dump station on the map nor did we ever see one in the park, thus the need to use the bath house and the disappointment with the condition it was in. If we had planned a longer stay, this would have been a major issue. The park is very pretty, and probably great for day use and hiking. I cannot recommend it for RV camping. Too many negatives.

This is a beautiful park perfect for a one day hike. We did the Buffalo Trail and it took us to a nice view point looking out towards the river.
