I met with Brian the owner of the shop. He gave me a really good deal on everything I needed and was patient bringing me up to loop on the new gadgets and fly fishing equipment. Being a spincast fisherman for many years and the guide on lake Michigan, I've always wanted to make that transition into fly fishing pain free. Brian was very knowledgeable and patient, and now I have everything I need with an understanding to go catch (and release) some nice trout. Located conveniently downtown East Lansing on the main drag, the store is very neat, and organized. A huge assortment of fly tying furs, feathers, and tools this is a very fine fly shop. Thanks Brian for your knowledge and patience I'll be back.

Great customer service! I purchased a new fly rod, and when I went to use it for the first time one of the sections was cracked. I contacted Nomad and explained the situation. They were able to replace the rod that same day, no questions asked. I was literally in and out of the store in about 2 minutes. Love it when a business stands behind their products! Highly recommended!

Folks at Nomad run a great shop. They were out of stock on an item so I sent an email asking when they'd get more in. An hour later I had an email asking me what I wanted and a week later another email saying they had what I was looking for and were holding it for me. When my package arrived it had a handwritten note directly to me.nnAmazon is great for light bulbs and diapers, Nomad is better for fishing stuff.nnThey're email newsletter doesn't even suck. What more could you even ask for.
