Made the bad choice of letting an employee grip my board and now i have an air pocket, its completely angled, and he couldnt even manage to cut the sides in a straight line.

Zumiez is great. Realistically that's all that needs to be said but in more depth they have hell skate gear, a lot universal stuff, a decent deck collection and tons of merch from vans, nike, tour favortie skaters, and just a lot of the basic run of the mill skate necessities. Go in, ask for Gabe or Devin and let them handle you. Super friendly and knowledgeable and because they know the brands well, can lead you to whatever is most specific to your style, both skating and culture wise.
