The staff here are on top of it! This place has pristine sites with high quality furniture. They bring the wood right to you (we paid for wood at the camp store and it was at our fire pit before we got back) and pick up trash right from your site. They also send helpful text messages about things like the store closing soon or to remember to check your propane levels since it's cold out.nnThey have an off leash dog park, sizeable playground, mini golf course, RC track, and more.nnWe also especially appreciate that they maintain good safety protocols.nnEvery staff member has been very friendly and personable. Overall great campground!
An amazing campground with tons of fun activities for adults and children! They have a gaga ball pit, a dog playground, a big jumping pad, a jumping pillow, a basketball hoop, a playground with a baby swing, a train, a swimming pool, and mini golf. They have a camp store if you need anything camp related. Everything was very clean and well-maintained!
This place is what every campground (at least what every private campground) should aspire to be. The campground itself is absolutely beautiful. I mean like nothing beats state campgrounds at least in Michigan in terms of scenic beauty but this one comes pretty darn close. We came here during fall so we throughly enjoyed only a 30% full campground vs. a chock o'block full campground as is the case during summers. But regardless of it being not too full the quality of the campsites is top notch. They are very well maintained and the best part is that the service is outstanding. As mentioned we came here during the fall and of course this being Michigan and this being Traverse City, the temperature went from 54 degrees in the day to us waking up to snow on the ground the next morning. And to our great surprised the water pipes were frozen the next morning. Us being newbie campers, this freaked us out. But we called their number and within literally five minutes their owner was over to our camper and solved the problem for us. It seriously did not even take them FIVE minutes to respond.nnMy wife and I were so blown away by their commitment to good service and how well they have maintained this spot. This makes us want to come back again and again and next season we are definitely going to be back along with extended family because we are going to recommend the heck out of this campground to everyone we know.nnKudos to such an incredible management and service. Highly, highly recommend this KOA campground.
Excellent campground! We stay here every year. It still has a few nice wooded rustic sites for people with tents. I hope they keep them since so many campgrounds cater to RVs and do not provide secluded sites for tents. The staff is friendly. The bathrooms are kept very clean. There are many activities for families.
Awesome!nBeautifully maintained and kept, far more than needed, but they obviously care. This is an essential stop if you have kids, lotolots of things to keep the kids occupied. We don't have kids but it was great seeing kids be kids and having a great time. Set in the woods, but plenty of high end shopping in Traverse city 12 miles up. The only minor complaint is that the water is very full of iron. Just bring drinking water. I am sure if the owner's could control it the would. Great place!!!
