The staff is amazing. Yolanda is a hardworking manager. Heather goes out of her way to do anything asked of her. The maintenance man, works hard to keep Bear Cave on track.

This place is seriously SO COOL!! Needed a last minute place to stay for an event in New Buffalo, and opted for the park, which is a quick 20 minute drive from there and Three Oaks. Rented a little cabin, which had two twin beds and a master room with a queen bed. While we were initially in Michigan for friends in New Buffalo, we loved the site so much we ended up grilling and hanging out at our cabin on the screened in porch. The grounds are insane! Almost feels like a camp movie with the winding Forrest pathway that leads to the river and camp store/pool. Hand a really fun night walk with the kids, as it is not super long. Yes—there is a waterfall, and a cave, you will not be disappointed lol.nnStaff was very friendly and glad to give us directions around the site as well as give hiking recommendations in the area to socially distance and explore. Only complaint is more a suggestion, that the store was stocked with more items and souvenirs for the kids.nnOther campers were super friendly and kept their distance, especially with the little ones when they were at the park. Dog friendly, and overall a great place to escape the city for a weekend and just cook out, have a bonfire, and enjoy the amenities like the lake and nearby hiking. Quick drive from chicago, we are all excited to head back up when they re-open in the spring!

Buildings and sites are built into the wooded terrain. We had a brook right next to our site. People are awesome, amenities are awesome. Once you are in the property everything else goes away. Highly recommend this place. Pool, lake , canoes. The cave was really cool.

Seriously quiet and clean. Cabins were nice for a weekend away.
