Maiden voyage of my new inflatable today...we had a lovely time. Turtles, kingfishers(×7) ducks, Great Blue Herons and trout leaping straight out of the river-- what a day. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5-- Nasty OILY residue from the launch site. I don't know WHAT it was, but took me almost an hour to clean my new kayak of the stuff. Yuck.
Name change to Paris River Park. Join us @ 1:00 on the 2nd Sunday of each month (seasonal; weather permitting) for a fun group paddle. Hope to meet you there!
