Went in for an alignment on a vehicle of mine. The mechanic drove it in the shop and put it on the hoist where he observed a broken tie rod so the van was lowered back down, drove outside and I was charged as if the alignment was completed because, the job was attempted. Finally the service manager took about $15. off the $75. service bill and I paid around $60. just to learn about the tie rod. In my 40 years of being a licensed driver and automobile owner this is the first time I've been charged (and charged heavily) for an assessment. I initially chose Frontier Motors because they could get me in the next day for the work and every other shop was at least a week out. I understand how every other shop is so busy and Frontier can get to it immediately, because the locals must know this dealership's service department will put the screws to you every chance they get.nnWill I come back to Frontier Motors for work on my Chevys? No, I'll wait the week for someone not so greedy.
We were hunting in Gregory, South Dakota and we lost our rental car key. Rich at Frontier not only came in on a Sunday, his day off, but also opened the shop to make us a new key so we could make it back to Denver to catch our flight. Cody Hiar has a great business model of accommodating his customers and going the extra mile. I cannot say enough about Frontier Motors.
