I just had a life altering shopping experience at Jill McGowan’s store. I am not someone who enjoys clothes shopping-at all. Primarily because I find most off the rack clothing of poor quality and ill fitting. So when I do find something I like, I tend to buy multiples and/or one in every color so I can put off shopping again for a while.nI have always loved Jill’s shirts but assumed they were not made for larger body types- I was wrong! I went into her store on Exchange Street for a personal shopping experience and Jill and Jayme knew exactly which styles and in what fabrics would work best for me. They even took into account my skin tone and eye color. I never once touched a clothes rack. They grabbed what they thought I should try on and within 45 minutes I had purchased a seasons worth of the most beautiful, well made and timeless pieces of clothing I have ever owned - AND THEY FIT WELL! What a revelation- I will never shop any other way again. Thank you Jill and Jayme for taking the time to pay attention to the customer- I will be back for another personal shopping experience soon!

Whenever I want a look that is current yet timeless, I head to the Jill McGowan store. Jill's designs are superbly-crafted from top of the line textiles. From shirts to skirts to jackets, they are the clothes I reach for every day and for special occasions. The store also carries many complimentary brands. Jill and her team are always ready to assist with sizes and looks - amazing customer service in the heart of the Old Port.

The staff are so helpful. While Jill is known for her own shirt designs (and I found one I love), I also discovered my favorite jeans at her store. Her selection is carefully chosen to be comfortable, high-quality, timeless, and flattering. I'll be back!

Jamie was very helpful and welcoming. She helped my friend and I browse for fanny packs and masks. The face masks they are carrying are gorgeous, comfortable, and adjustable.nnI couldn’t walk away from them!
