Great camp sites, all right on the lake. Can kayak or boat from the ramp right across to your campsite.nnMy notes on each site:.nn1 and 2 alot branches in water, noisy due to boat ramp.nn3 big tree roots, swampynn4. Muddy but good kayak access, secret spot right by #3nn5. Very sunny, muddy and branchesnn6. Muddy, small drop but good access, Nook for tent, trail to #5nn7. two tent nooks, muddy but beachish, not facing dock, hammock treesnn9. Nice beach with drop off to lake. Large nook up close to trail or by firepit. Wide hammock stretch.nn10. No lake access due to large drop off & treesnn11. No lake access or table, huge drop offnn12. No lake access, not private, have to walk thru to get to #13nn13. Access via 12, sm drop to ok beach, sunny, small, right by dock.nn14. Half shade, not private due to wide open to lake, tables, beach, raised fire, hammock trees.nn15. Smaller version of 14.nn16. Very small beach but shaded. Trail to 15.

I love going here no matter what the season. There are about 16 individual camp sites, each providing access to the lake. A parking area exists, with the sites located linearly along the lake. So, site #16 can be a bit of a walk when carrying your camping supplies. Each site has a fire ring and ample room. A well maintained bath house is within easy walking distance. The campsite is next to the lakes boat ramp making launching very convenient.

Great place to get away with the family and enjoy nature

I love this camp site. It has well kept restrooms for tent campers, picnic tables and fire pits at every site. I find the price of 19 bucks to be high when I'm not getting electric or water service. And when it rains I've found out, drainage isn't that great so it stays very muddy longer than I expected. Again, I love the experience there, just a couple things they could improve upon.

It it is a walk-in / hike-in campground. 3 stars due to seeing lots of litter along the trails and around the sites. Otherwise, I'd give this place 5 stars. I will likely camp it again next year.nn--------------nnPros:n-Unique and different sitesnn-Fairly quietnn-easy access fishingnn- it's an adventure, you have to hike in (pack lightly)nnCons:n- Sites are on the other side of the lake and the area has not been swept for litter in a long timenn- Too much litter on the sides of trails/sitesnn- No boat docksnn- You have to drive around the whole lake just to check-in and/or buy firewoodnn- Not all sites have firepit rings (some just a grill)nn- some sites are in need of ring and grill repair/replacementnn- many sites require picnic table repair and replacement
