Spencer (Baby Bear) just loves going here. Plenty of room for dogs to run around and play. Friendly people Friendly dogs.nThey also have access to water (season permitting) and they supply poop bags as well. Its our go to place!!! Thanks city of Washington.
Plenty of room for dogs to run around, respectful dog owners. Kids play area makes it a nice destination.nThe scenery is not the most desirable. It’s nice to go down the trails, but expect to find a water treatment plant, and plenty of old junk (abandoned mattresses, etc) along the trail.
I don't have a dog but I was sitting there doing paperwork. There were other people with dogs and it looks like they were having fun. there is a big dog side and a small dog side. Plenty of space!
Nice park in a very safe and friendly area.nTrails could definitely be widened out when I visited and there is a couple spots that are very trashed on the trails that the park district seems to lack on taking care of which is very sad.. For instance there is a hippie tree full of trash and cigarillo wrappers that you stumble upon when you first walk into the trail, and when you get to the bottom of the trail near the creek the trail basically ends or hasn’t been reconnected to its original route... I really wish the park district would take care of the only nature trail system we have in Washington...nndog park is nice and gated with two sides, has lots of open space and a shelter.nThere is also some playground equipment near the parking if you have kids.
Great local secret. Well maintained with bags for dog waste. Most people pick up their dogs waste and bring water for the dogs when the pump is off for winter. Lots of space for big dogs to run and a large separate space for the little ones.
