Campsite was beautiful, right on the lake. But the lake smelled like sewage and was bright green. The swimming beach was covered with seaweed and algae. Despite my best judgment my kids and I tried swimming and it was gross - smelly and the water felt. . . thick. There were very few trails and nowhere to bike so we got bored without swimming. as an option. We did enjoy a lovely sunset and stargazing later, which is the only reason this park garnered a 2nd star.
Beautiful spot to recharge your batteries. Great little beach and wonderful for fishing. Camping spots right in the water and not super crowded.
Truly a hidden gem! Beautiful country! Great hiking trails! Check it!
Very clean bathrooms, excellent campsites, and beautiful lake to explore ud83dudc4d campsite #29 was very nice, looks over the lake
Terrible campsite for tenters. The lake is very developed and there was a lot of people having loud parties. There was also several people in the campsite area running generators and throwing small parties of their own too. Bring ear plugs if you plan on trying to relax.
