Never been to this preserve before today, a beautiful spring day when things are just starting to bloom. I may have caught it at just the perfect time, but it's a wonderful place to study plants. It felt almost prehistoric with the amazing number of different plants covering the grounds - it's quite different from a lot of preserves where invasive honeysuckle is overtaking everything.nnExpect some muddy, bumpy trails (though the loop that was the muddiest can be avoided, it was not difficult to navigate). Benches are in many places along the paths so you can sit next to a small stream and enjoy the sounds of nature. There's a beautiful pine grove as well. We passed a couple of people but this preserve felt comfortably secluded.nnDue to the wet areas, I'd expect mosquito season to be a little rougher, but I can't wait to go back.

This is a very quiet peaceful place to go. The trails out there are pretty well kept and I have yet to come across any kind of thorns or stickers.

this place is gorgeous. and HUGE! One of my favorite places to go for walks with the dog or friends, or both! i had my senior pics taken out here and my best friend and i have done multiple photo shoots here as well. it’s so beautiful and well kept. kind of a hidden treasure!

Love the trails here and it's a great place for a picnic when it isn't mosquito season

Took my children out to walk the trails and embrace nature. Trails were kept very clean, as was all around them. Praying we, as a community, can breathe life back in to the buildings out there, especially the tabernacle, for generations beyond our own to enjoy again
