I didn't know it was an actual park. I suppose a bike path gives it that designation. I quite frankly just fish here and I did that before it became a park. I guess even in dire economic times it's important to cling to the largest park district per capita title.
The riverfront is clean and open. Took the family there for a picnic. Tables are plentiful and clean. Walking path on the river is nice. Convenient location to numerous restaurants. Definitely recommended, nice small town feel.
Nice to set and watch the river and the birds.
Beautiful, comfortable place to relax and visit with friends.
Nice quiet place on the river for a small picnic (and has nice cabin to show kids how spoiled they are each one having own bedroom)
